Natural scrubs are the way to go...
First thing in the morning is the best time to have a light exfoliation,
to get rid of the oil and dirt that was produced overnight.
I have very sensitive skin and I was using St Ives apricot
scrub for some time, but it always led me to breaking out because
of the harsh chemicals which my face reacted to (Big no no!) .
So i done some research and
came up with this homemade scrub that i absolutely adore, it has cherry
tomatoes which have alpha hydroxy acid this regenerates the skin for a more
glowy/healthy look and helps removes any excess oils.
It also contains bananas which makes such a fantastic
moisturiser and you can feel your skin tighten when applied, the scrub is very
nourishing and 10/10 for the pennies saved!!!.
Firstly pour 4 tablespoons of natural yogurt into a bowl, using
your fingers mash up half a banana whilst doing this you are also moisturising
your fingertips.
Then cut 5 cherry tomatoes in half and place into the bowl.
Add half a sqeeze of lemon with one teaspoon of manuka honey.
Finally add 3
teaspoons of sugar (the sugar will act as a gentle exfoliator).
Stir together and walaaaaaaaa your light exfloation scrub!!!!
Leave the scrub on for 15 minutes and relax........ When
washing your face use warm water this will open the pores and allow the excess
to nourish the skin..... After washing my face i used Clinque’s liquid facial
soap (i will be doing a review about it very soon).
Tip; To close the pores
wash your face with a splash of refreshing cold water...
(This makes enough
for 4 applications and can be kept for two days in the fridge)
